The Dog & Rabbit is a family-run micropub and microbrewery on Park View in Whitley Bay, converted from a former ladies' clothing shop and opened as one of the first micropubs in North Tyneside. It features a corner bar with six handpumps, and the owners' micro-brewery is installed on the premises, so visitors can enjoy the pub's own brews alongside an ever-changing selection of guest ales from local breweries. In keeping with the micropub ethos, there are no jukeboxes, televisions or games machines, just conversation over well-kept beer. The pub is dog-friendly, with dog beer and treats available, and sits within the Park View area of the town.
