Valerie's Tearoom is a seafront tearoom at Spanish City in Whitley Bay, styled to evoke the elegance of the venue's 1910 origins. It serves a range of traditional, herbal and fruit teas alongside coffees, juices and smoothies, plus freshly baked pastries, muffins and cakes made daily. A wider food menu covers breakfast and brunch, including eggs Benedict and full English breakfasts, together with omelettes, sandwiches, salads and quiches, all available to dine in or take away. Open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm, the tearoom offers a relaxed setting with sea views. It provides a nostalgic nod to the building's early twentieth-century heritage.
