About The Kittiwake

The Kittiwake is a pub on Claremont Crescent on the Whitley Lodge estate in Whitley Bay, established in 1961. Its main food menu is entirely gluten-free, with dishes including fish and chips, ribs and wings platters, and traditional Sunday roasts; the everyday menu runs Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch is served in the afternoon. The pub shows live sport across multiple screens, hosts karaoke and happy-hour promotions, and has an outdoor seating area known as the lodge. Table booking is available.
