About Whitley Bay Community Hub & Library
Whitley Bay Community Hub and Library on York Road is run by North Tyneside Council and combines library and council services under one roof. It offers book, magazine and newspaper lending, free PCs and Wi-Fi, and printing and photocopying, alongside customer services such as housing advice and a Barclays Bank drop-in. The building also has an art exhibition area, rooms for hire, public toilets with a Changing Places facility, and a regular programme of activities and events. As part of its Warm Welcome offer, it provides comfortable seating, board games, puzzles, baby-friendly facilities and free hot drinks in the afternoon.
