Kumon Whitley Bay Study Centre offers individualised maths and English tuition for children of all ages and abilities, running from the Customer First Centre on York Road, Whitley Bay. The centre uses Kumon's self-learning method, with pupils working through carefully developed worksheets tailored to each child's ability rather than their age or school year, supported by the instructor as needed. Classes run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with an early-learners section, independent reading area and family waiting space. The centre is led by instructor Kelly Skinner, a former primary school teacher, and benefits from free parking opposite and disabled access.
