About For the Love of the North

For the Love of the North is an independent gift shop inside the Spanish City building on the Whitley Bay seafront, founded in 2017 by Lucy and Paul out of a love of the North, its people, places and artists. It sells gifts, greetings cards, prints, clothing, accessories, homeware, stationery, food and drink and craft supplies, with products designed by Northern artists and creatives and manufactured in Britain. The shop runs a 'Gives Back' collection supporting the Bay Foodbank and opens seven days a week.
