Edelweiss Christmas Tree Co. is a seasonal Christmas tree yard on Double Row at Seaton Delaval, a few minutes' drive north of Whitley Bay and Monkseaton and the closest specialist tree seller to the town. It sells a range of cut and living trees, including its top-quality Emerald Grade, alongside garlands and bespoke wreaths, and sells tree foliage by the kilo for people making their own wreaths. Very large trees, over 12ft, have needed ordering in advance.
The yard only trades in the run-up to Christmas, usually opening in the last week of November and often selling out before Christmas week. Opening dates and hours change each year and are announced on its Instagram page, so check there before you set off.
