About Ayres Veterinary Centre

Ayres Veterinary Centre is a small-animal veterinary practice on Ilfracombe Gardens in Whitley Bay, first established in 1973 and now part of the CVS Vets group. It is RCVS-accredited under the Practice Standards Scheme as a Core Standards small-animal practice, and treats cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, small furries and some birds such as parrots and cockatiels. Services include routine consultations, repeat prescriptions, pet passports and Animal Health Certificates, and pet insurance, and the practice runs the Healthy Pet Club preventative-care plan. A SignVideo BSL service is available for Deaf clients. The centre is open Monday to Friday and closed at weekends.
