CODA: A Tribute to Led Zeppelin -- Whitley Bay Playhouse

Friday 13 June at the Whitley Bay Playhouse. If you have ever wanted to hear Whole Lotta Love, Stairway to Heaven, and Kashmir performed live with the energy they deserve, this is your night. CODA are one of the UK's most respected Led Zeppelin tribute acts, delivering a faithful recreation of the band's legendary sound. A proper Friday night out on your doorstep.

Tynemouth Station Market

Saturday and Sunday at Tynemouth Station. FREE entry. Just a short walk along the coast, the region's favourite weekend market returns beneath the Victorian canopy. Handmade crafts, vintage fashion, ceramics, street food, and live music.

Northumberland Miners Picnic -- Woodhorn

Friday 13 June at Woodhorn Museum, Ashington. FREE. The 160th Northumberland Miners Picnic, with brass bands, colliery banners, and speeches. One of the region's most important community gatherings.

The Bebbanburg Market -- Bamburgh Castle

Friday 13 to Saturday 14 June at Bamburgh Castle. A Viking-themed artisan market set against the dramatic backdrop of Bamburgh Castle. Browse handmade crafts, watch living history, and soak up the atmosphere.

Indian Cookery Workshop -- Blackfriars Newcastle

Saturday 14 June at Blackfriars, Newcastle. Hands-on Indian cookery in a 13th-century friary. Ingredients provided, and you eat everything you make. A rewarding Saturday for food lovers.

Heritage Train Rides -- Stephenson Steam Railway Opening Day
