Whitley Bay's story over the past decade has been one of genuine renewal. Spanish City's Art Deco dome, left derelict for years, is now home to some of the best dining on the coast. The beach consistently holds its Blue Flag status. Park View is packed with independent boutiques, gift shops, and cafes that give the high street a character you simply cannot replicate with chain stores.
